Save KZN Youth Empowerment Fund

We stand in solidarity with the young people of Kwazulu-Natal Province, to urgently petition the reconsideration of the decision to defund the KZN Growth Trust Fund for the Youth Empowerment Fund of R100 Million budget.

The initial phase of the trust demonstrated remarkable success with 51 beneficiaries and the creation of over 500 jobs. The continuation of this initiative is crucial for sustained youth empowerment.

Funding redirection towards non-profit institutions jeopardises the foundation of youth entrepreneurship. We implore the Premier to recognise the potential ripple effect: job seekers multiplying instead of job creators emerging.

As ActionSA, we stand united with the youth in opposing this decision

Please stand with us in prioritising the future of our province and fostering an environment that empowers young minds and cultivates job opportunities.
