ActionSA To Contest Elections in Newcastle and KwaDukuza Local Municipalities

Today, ActionSA President, Herman Mashaba, announced that the party will contest the coming Local Government Elections in both the Newcastle Local Municipality and KwaDukuza Local Municipality, in Kwa – Zulu Natal (KZN).

This is a sign of ActionSA’s continuous exponential growth across the province of KZN and other parts of South Africa. Indeed, we continue to grow well beyond the metros of Johannesburg, Ekurhuleni, Tshwane and eThekwini. With thousands of volunteers across the country, we will be launching many branches in non-metro municipalities where residents have supported our demand for change in our communities and in government.

In the Amajuba District, all wards within this district have been painted green with functional branches and some 500 active members. Soon, we will be completing the roll-out of our branches in the iLembe District after COVID-19 infection levels prevented further launches – half of our branches in this area are already fully operational.

As we continue to grow, we look forward to painting the rest of KZN in ActionSA green. We are committed to ensuring that we unseat the ANC and bringing it to below 50% in the coming Local Government Elections. As ActionSA, we believe that the residents of KZN deserve an ethical and competent government that can deliver basic services and an inclusive and prosperous future for all. This will not happen under the ANC.

ActionSA stands ready to provide an alternative to the broken political system that has failed South Africans. We will assemble a team of South Africans, committed to public service and not service of political parties, who have the skills, experience, and knowledge to achieve our vision for a country that works for all its residents. We look forward to contesting the coming Local Government Elections where the residents of will have the power to reclaim their municipalities from selfish, criminal and corrupt politicians.
