ActionSA is pleased to welcome former City of Joburg Councillor for Ward 23, Sarah Wissler, to our Local Government Election Campaign Team.

I worked closely with Sarah during my time as the Executive Mayor of the City of Johannesburg and came to know her as someone who cares deeply about serving her community, and building a prosperous and inclusive South Africa.

During this time, I saw Sarah take on the fight against women abuse, corruption, government incompetence, and the waste of our rates and taxes. It is clear to me that Sarah shares ActionSA’s vision for a responsible, ethical, and accountable government that serves the people of South Africa over itself.

Over the past 10 years, she has demonstrated her commitment to our shared values through her involvement in various charitable organisations and as a City Councillor. With the 2021 Local Government Elections expected to take place between August and November this year, ActionSA needs experienced individuals of Sarah’s calibre to step forward and join our fight to save South Africa.

It is not too late to build a South Africa that we can all be proud of. But we need all South Africans who share this dream for our country to play their part in shaping our collective future.
