ActionSA extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Mpho Mafole, the Head of Corporate and Forensic Audits in the City of Ekurhuleni, who was tragically murdered in Kempton Park. His death is not only a loss to his loved ones but a significant blow to the city’s governance and integrity initiatives.

ActionSA strongly condemns the Gauteng Department of Education for its failure to ensure the timely payment of Education and General Assistants appointed through the Basic Education Employment Initiative. This inexcusable delay—allegedly due to ongoing data verification—reflects serious administrative shortcomings that have placed the livelihoods of thousands of young people at risk.
