Considering the gravity of the alleged crime, this a victory for the community of Moletjie and Bloodriver.

While respecting the cultural significance of the initiation, the alarming fatalities demand immediate action. The over 30 deaths of Ulwaluko initiates in the Eastern Cape this summer season reflect a collective failure, and we urge custodians to eliminate misconduct for the safety of our youth and young boys.

ActionSA is extremely concerned that 24 hours after the Germiston Magistrates’ Court issued a warrant of arrest for the undocumented foreign national who harrassed Patrica Khoza’s son – the woman who helped get an undocumented foreign national arrested for hijacking a building in Germiston, Ekurhuleni – the Germiston police have simply ignored acting on the arrest.
