Ekurhuleni: ActionSA assists victim’s family open harassment case related to illegal building hijacker & undocumented Nigerian national

ActionSA has assisted the son of Patricia Khoza – who first open a case against undocumented foreign national Tony Kadzadi for building hijacking in Primrose, Ekurhuleni – to open a case against Kadzadi’s friend after he intimidated and harassed the son following court proceedings.
Kadzadi appeared in court on Thursday where his case was postponed for the tenth time after hours of delay, and he was again released on bail despite having no documentation to be in South Africa and therefore a clear flight risk.
Following court proceedings, Kadzadi’s friend approached Khoza’s son where he filmed him, and thereafter poured water on him while he was standing at the stairs of their home. Kadzadi’s friend was heard telling Khoza’s son that he would get his friends to beat him and drop him in a deserted place, whereafter ActionSA assisted the family to open a case at the Primrose police station.
As a party which values the rule of law, ActionSA is extremely concerned about the apparent abuse and intimidation that has played a role in this matter since a case was first opened in January.
On numerous occasions have Khoza and her family been intimidated by Kadzadi, his friends and police. She was even briefly arrested for illegal entry to property, despite Kadzadi being the person who illegally hijacked the building.
We believe the matter highlights the ANC’s breakdown of the rule of law in South Africa where courts defend culprits instead of defending the victims of crime in the country. Khoza’s human dignity has repeatedly been infringed upon by the repeated delays in achieving justice.
As a party which values the rule of law, ActionSA will continue to support Khoza in her case against Kadzadi to ensure that justice prevails. We will not stand for the breakdown of law in South Africa and will work tirelessly to ensure that victims of crime get the justice they deserve.
We are will follow up on this case until this culprit is arrested and justice is served for Patricia Khoza’s son.
