Our leadership team comprises of individuals with political experience who left their previous parties because they stopped serving the people of South Africa and combines them with professionals from outside of the political environment.

From stability and success during the dark days of apartheid to his reluctant road to politics. This is the story of how our President, Herman Mashaba is taking the values of success he learned in business, and using them to change the face of South African politics.

OUR NATIONAL CHAIRPERSON

Michael Beaumont

National Chairperson of ActionSA, Author and Proud South African, Michael Beaumont was born and raised in Durban, and educated at Michaelhouse and Rhodes University.

Michael served 9 years as the Managing Director of the DA in KZN and Gauteng, and in 2016, Herman Mashaba appointed him as his chief of staff in the City of Johannesburg.

After the collapse of the Johannesburg coalition government in 2019, Michael co-founded The People’s Dialogue and ActionSA with Herman Mashaba and André Coetzee.

Athol Trollip is the former mayor of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro and brings with him an invaluable understanding of governance in a province that has been hallowed out by the ruling party.
Kgosi Kwena Mangope has a long history of service to the people of the North West and represents the calibre of leadership we hope to bring when we enter government next year.
Patricia Kopane previously served as a shadow minister of health and on the portfolio committee of health in Parliament where she proved herself as a true corruption buster.
Zwakele’s Mncwango extensive record of service to the people of KwaZulu-Natal exemplifies the calibre of leadership we hope to bring when we enter government next year.
Thoko Mashiane has proven herself to be able to quickly build structures in Mpumalanga, including in the remote areas of the province.
Angela represents the calibre of leadership we seek to begin the important work of fixing South Africa. She is ethical and resolute in her mission to achieve social justice in South Africa.
Andrew Louw has a long history of service to the people of the Northern Cape and represents the calibre of leadership ActionSA hopes to bring when we enter government next year.
