ActionSA Calls for Urgent Justice After Brutal Killing of North West Community Activist
Press Statement by Masego Kodisang MPL
ActionSA Member of the North West Provincial Legislature
ActionSA in the North West strongly condemns the brutal murder of community activist and entrepreneur, Thato “Senganga” Molosankwe, who was shot and killed in the early hours of Wednesday morning at his home in Lomanyeneng village, Mahikeng.
Thato was known for fearlessly speaking out against criminality, corruption and the growing concerns around illegal undocumented foreign nationals in parts of the province. His killing is yet another painful reminder that criminals continue to target and silence those who stand up for law-abiding citizens and safer communities.
Today, ActionSA MPL Masego Kodisang, together with the leadership in the province visited the Molosankwe family to convey our condolences and stand in solidarity with them during this difficult time. We extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends and the broader North West community mourning this tragic loss.
ActionSA calls on the MEC of Community Safety and all law enforcement agencies to act swiftly and decisively to ensure that those responsible are arrested and prosecuted without delay. The continued targeting of activists and community voices cannot be allowed to continue with impunity.
ActionSA will continue to stand with communities demanding safety, accountability, and decisive action against criminality.
