ActionSA Demands Decisive Action to Prevent Rosettenville Clinic From Total Collapse

ActionSA is deeply concerned about the dire state of the Rosettenville Clinic. The clinic is currently serving 70% foreign nationals with its limited resources.

There are numerous challenges requiring urgent intervention. The clinic infrastructure is dilapidated and unsuitable for accommodating patients in need of medical assistance.

As an immediate intervention ActionSA demands:

– Proper Online filling system

– Effective Online Booking System

– Additional nurses

– Basic medical equipment

– Sufficient medication

– Building renovation

We reiterate our call for healthcare facilities to prioritise South Africans over illegal foreign nationals. The Health Department risks collapsing if it continues to be overwhelmed by illegal foreign nationals.

ActionSA will be intensitying its oversight role to ensure that the clinics in all regions are equipped in a manner that caters for Joburg residents with ease.

ActionSA has also noted the progress made at the Turffontein Clinic which is currently under construction. We believe that this clinic, after completion, will bring much needed relief to the residents. We will be closely monitoring this project to ensure that every cent is accounted for and that the project is completed as per the agreed date.
