ActionSA Gauteng Extends Deepest Condolences to 5-Year-Old Ditebogo Jnr’s Family in Soshanguve
Funzi Ngobeni
ActionSA Gauteng Premier Candidate
ActionSA Gauteng is angered by the senseless killing of the young Ditebogo Jnr. Phalane at the hands of the hijacking criminals in Soshanguve.
Yesterday afternoon, Gauteng Premier Candidate Funzi Ngobeni, Soshanguve Constituency Chairperson, and members of the party visited the family to offer their condolences and support during these difficult times.
It was revealed by the family during the visit that the boy’s father, Ditebogo Phalane, was arriving home in the evening when his Toyota Hilux was hijacked by an unknown number of armed suspects. Tragically, the young boy, who had gone out to greet his father, was shot and later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
The general prevalence of such evil criminal acts in Gauteng and Soshanguve in particular requires our law enforcement agencies to be diligent, decisive, and uncompromising in executing their duties.
We therefore call on the SAPS Provincial Commissioner to direct all available resources to track and apprehend these criminals who senselessly took Ditebogo’s young life.
An ActionSA government will ensure that the rule of law returns and that harsh measures are applied to all criminals who will receive a minimum of 15 years without parole. Our communities cannot endure this continued absence of law and order.
