Today, ActionSA in KwaZulu Natal welcomes two prominent leaders. Former Democratic Alliance eThekwini Ward 23 Councillor Xolani Nala and 24-year-old Qiniso Ngema who is a former One South Africa Movement Youth Leader who led young people in the Western Cape. Both members were formerly welcomed to ActionSA by Provincial Secretary Bongani Caluza under the banner of #BringThemHome.
Nala is well versed in the challenges facing the people of eThekwini and he previously served as a ward 23 councillor during the 2016-2021 terms. He firmly believes that ActionSA is the only political home where he can continue to serve the community in eThekwini and across the province and can no longer do so under the leadership of the DA.
Ngema is a young activist with provincial leadership experience and now that he is back in his home province of KZN, is determined to change the lives of young people. His focus is on education and access to job opportunities as well as ensuring that the voices of young people are accommodated in South African politics. He will be instrumental in establishing youth structures across the province.
Upon welcoming Nala and Ngema to ActionSA, Caluza made the assertion that ActionSA in KZN is committed to attracting formidable South Africans who want to play their part in fixing this country. We will continue to welcome hard working individuals from across the spectrum in our bid to ensure that we fix KwaZulu Natal.
