ActionSA launches ‘Ready for Action, SA?’ Campaign to bring hope to South Africa

ActionSA has today launched our ‘Ready for Action, SA?’ campaign, as we embark on a project to share our message of hope for an inclusive and prosperous future for all South Africans with the people of our beloved country.

South Africa is facing a crisis of ethical and competent government. With loadshedding on the verge of Stage 7, President Ramaphosa is embroiled in a factional ANC battle for this political future. South Africa is leaderless.

When buffalos rumble, it is the grass that suffers. Now more than ever, South Africa needs an ethical and solutions-based alternative to the failed political establishment. ActionSA stands ready to be that alternative.

We launched ActionSA in 2020 to unite the good, hard-working, law-abiding, family-oriented, and freedom-loving people of our beloved country behind the project of fixing South Africa. Over the past two years, we have grown from strength to strength:

  • We have expanded across the length and breadth of South Africa, launching structures and branches in all 9 provinces.
  • We have signed up hundreds of thousands of members from all walks of life, reflecting the beautiful diversity of our country.
  • We have contested our first Local Government elections, and formed part of governing coalitions in Johannesburg, Tshwane, and Ekurhuleni.
  • Where we have governed, we have brought positive change to the citizens we were elected to serve.

While some of our supporters have been with us from the beginning, having participated in the People’s Dialogue – the public engagement process from which ActionSA was born – others have joined more recently, inspired by our hands-on, solutions-based offering and message of hope.

That’s why over the coming months, we’ll be taking all South Africans on a journey about where we come from, to where we are headed as a party. From our roots in public engagement, through our official launch as ActionSA, to a voice of hope and change in South Africa. We want to share our story, and our vision with the people of South Africa!

More importantly, we want the people of South Africa to share their thoughts and dreams with us and help us shape the policies and plans that we need to fix South Africa as we head towards the 2024 Elections.

Hope is not lost for South Africa. But it is clear that as long as the ANC in in power, South Africa will not prosper. Instead of drowning in hopelessness and despair, now is the time to take action and chart a course towards a new future for South Africa.
