ActionSA to Officially Launch Eastern Cape Structures

This weekend, starting today, Thursday 2 June to Saturday 4 June 2022, Herman Mashaba, President of ActionSA together with Athol Trollip, ActionSA Eastern Cape Provincial Chairperson will embark upon several activities leading up to the Official Launch of Eastern Cape Provincial Structures.

Activities will begin as follows:

This afternoon, Thursday 2 June 2022: A visit to KwaNobuhle Police Station, 34 Mkoko Street, KwaNobuhle, Nelson Mandela Bay at 15h00 before proceeding to Ward 43. The door-to-door blitz will start Kinikini Street and end at Matomela Street from 16h00 to 18h00.

Tomorrow, Friday afternoon 3 June 2022 at 13h00, when the pair together with ActionSA activists and supporters will visit a community-led soup kitchen in Duncan Village in Buffalo City.

Duncan Village is a “twilight zone” of poverty and misery sandwiched between Mdantsane (arguably the second largest township after Soweto), and the City of East London. The socio-economic conditions in this community are beyond description.

Then on Saturday, 4 June 2022, Mashaba will officially launch ActionSA’ presence and political offensive aimed at the 2024 National and Provincial Government Elections in the Eastern Cape.

Mashaba will be accompanied by other senior ActionSA leadership figures that include Michael Beaumont, Athol Trollip, John Moodey and Bongani Baloyi as well as members from various parts of our structures across the country.

Official Launch Venue: Premier Hotel ICC Auditorium, Buffalo City

Time: 11h00
