ActionSA Tshwane REC Adopts a Strategic Position Leading up to 2024 and Beyond
Oupa Mathibela
ActionSA Tshwane Regional Chairperson
Today, Saturday 17 September 2022, ActionSA Tshwane Regional Executive Committee (REC) led by Chairperson, Oupa Mathibela, resolved to accelerate campaigns and visibility events at a meeting held to discuss strategy in anticipation of 2024 and beyond.
The REC further recommitted itself to being more responsive to our communities, to be the organization that resonates with our diverse constituents and remodel ourselves as the only reliable and trusted political organisation that can deliver the total emancipation for the people of Tshwane, underpinned by our seven (7) core values of Non-racialism, Economic Prosperity, Social Justice, Quality Education, Rule of Law, Ethical Leadership and Electoral Reform.
Last Month, the newly reconfigured geographic constituencies, Constituency Chairpersons and Secretaries were ratified and approved by the Gauteng Provincial Executive Committee (PEC). At the Constituency level, Executives were constituted and the work of taking our position as the responsive organization has begun in earnest.
The REC also resolved to operationalise these resolutions by working closely with our Public Representatives serving in the Tshwane Council, s79 Oversight Committee Chairpersons and our MMCs who have been trusted with politically leading three (3) Departments in the Metro.
After just one election and having contested in only six municipalities, a recently turned two years old ActionSA is today the sixth (6th) biggest party in South Africa, part of coalition Governments in the three Gauteng Metros and has representation in all municipalities we’ve contested in. This proves the confidence South Africans have in us. We dare not fail them.
