ActionSA wants answers from SANPARKS and the Minister of Tourism Ms Patricia de Lille about the missing of Kruger National Park employee, Mr Cherkers Mashego who went missing on duty at Kruger National Park.
Mr Mashego was working as a field ranger for the park and he disappeared on the 16 November 2020, when he left for work.
The family requested assistance from ActionSA to intervene by asking relevant authorities to find closure about what happened to their beloved father. The Park only returns his clothes, radio and his phone to the family.
Kruger National Park didn’t assist the family by searching for Mr Mashego’s remains and offer financial compensation to his family.
Mr Mashego when he disappeared, his two children were studying at the University of Mpumalanga and his wife was unemployed.
ActionSA want the Minister de Lille to intervene meet the family and assist in finding closure for the Mashego family.
We call upon all South Africans to come out on the 29 May 2024 to remove this uncaring, unpatriotic and corrupt government from power.
