ActionSA welcomes the dismissal of bail appeal by Free State High Court for Dr Nandipha Magudumana.
ActionSA is relieved that she will remain in prison because Magudumana is a flight risk who was arrested outside of the country, allegedly with fake passports in her possession. She has proved her scheming ways to escape prison and can do that again.
We have always advocated for a country where respect for the rule of law is universal and entrenched in our society, and where our laws are enforced to protect the rights of all people without fear, favour, or prejudice. This is a step in the right direction.
