ActionSA Welcomes New Caucus Leadership in Tshwane and Ekurhuleni
Funzi Ngobeni
ActionSA Gauteng Provincial Chairperson
ActionSA welcomes the election of Jackie Mathabathe as our City of Tshwane Caucus Leader, and Siyanda Makhubo as our City of Ekurhuleni Caucus Leader after internal elections took place.
The election of new Caucus Leaders is another sign of ActionSA’s commitment to ethical leadership, ensuring that our public representatives always prioritise the residents they were appointed to serve.
The new caucus leadership will be in charge of the day-to-day functioning of their respective caucuses to ensure that they keep governments accountable and deliver on ActionSA’s manifesto promises.
Mathabathe, who is also the ActionSA Tshwane Regional Chairperson, brings with him a wealth of knowledge having previously worked at Multichoice/DSTV and helping ActionSA set up structures across Gauteng and the North-West.
Meanwhile, Makhubo previously worked as a stakeholder manager in the City of Johannesburg and holds a long history within ActionSA. He also serves as the City of Ekurhuleni Regional Secretary.
We wish both Mathabathe and Makhubo well as they bring change to the communities of Tshwane and Ekurhuleni, showing the difference ActionSA can make once elected into government.
