ActionSA Welcomes Thembinkosi Rawula into Its Eastern Cape Structures

ActionSA is pleased to announce Mr Thembinkosi Rawula as a new addition to the party’s Eastern Cape structure. Mr Rawula brings a wealth of experience, having served in the National Assembly on the opposition benches and boasting an impressive resume. We look forward to working with Mr Rawula to grow and strengthen our membership base, leveraging his invaluable experience.

Mr Thembinkosi Rawula has been a political activist since his days as a student at the Nelson Mandela University in the early 2000’s. He was also an EFF Member of Parliament until he resigned after successfully defending a defamation case against himself by EFF Leader, Julius Malema, in the High and Supreme courts.

Apart from having a very impressive CV, what stands out is the fact that after defending himself successfully against his former party leader he pursued his obvious legal aptitude by studying for and graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) this year.

We wish to remind South Africans that we represent all citizens determined to liberate our country from the constraints of a broken political system and mend our painful past to build an inclusive, prosperous, non-racial, and secure future for all its people. ActionSA aims to unite the good, hard-working, law-abiding, community-oriented, and freedom-loving people of our country behind the project of fixing South Africa.

Mr. Rawula has demonstrated in the past that in a country where corruption is on the rise and the rule of law is evidently undermined, we should always stand for what is ethically correct, especially in the presence of potentially compromised individuals. Far too often, many South Africans lack the courage to stand up against corruption and other questionable practices out of fear of losing their livelihood and even their lives.

ActionSA is buoyed by the fact that we continue to attract people of such quality and character from across the political spectrum across the province and the country.
