An accomplished businessman who has taken up the fight to save South Africa, Alan joined ActionSA to help lead the fight to undo the decay in his home city of Durban and has served as a Councillor in the eThekwini Municipality.
Alan is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
Having owned and managed a successful private company and served on numerous boards and committees, Alan brings a breadth of experience that we believe will capacitate our implementation of innovative and decisive economic policies that expand opportunity and empower businesses to create jobs.
Alan has held numerous governance responsibilities across various types of organizations, including the private sector, non-governmental organisations, political, and faith-based organisations. This diverse exposure qualifies him to make an invaluable contribution to our team of fixers in Parliament.
