President Herman Mashaba Undertook Successful Visit To The North West Province

On Saturday, I undertook a successful visit to the North West Province alongside ActionSA Premier Candidate Kgosi Kwena Mangope and members of the provincial executive committee where we held a community meeting in the Broederstroom Area in Hartbeespoortdam, paid respects to traditional leaders at  the Bapo Ba Mogale Traditional Palace, and did a door to door campaign in Bapong and Majakaneng.

The visit reaffirms that ActionSA is growing by leaps and bounds in the province which for years has been plagued by the failures of the ruling party, suffering from high unemployment, a breakdown in the rule of law and public infrastructure decay. Everywhere we went, residents were excited to hear of the message ActionSA has to offer and made the commitment to take action at the ballot box to remove the ruling party and vote for an alternative that puts the people of South Africa first.

The community in the Broederstroom Area was well attended, and resident shared their dissatisfaction with the political establishment which has failed to provide for a non-racial alternative that will improve the lives of our people. The traditional leaders at the Bapo Ba Mogale Traditional Palace furthermore welcomed ActionSA’s visit and affirmed their commitment to work with us to fix our country this year and restore it to a path of prosperity.

In Bapong and Majakaneng, residents and ActionSA supporters were excited by our visit and I spoke to many about the solutions ActionSA has to offer. We also visited a water reservoir installed by Mangope’s father Kgosi Lucas Mangope when he was the chief minister of Bophuthatswana, but has since been vandalised in order for the municipality to issue an expensive water tanker tender.

I wish to extend my gratitude to ActionSA North West premier candidate Kgosi Kwena Mangope and his team for all the preparation that has gone into the visit. It has truly been highly successful to engage with voters across the spectrum on the difference ActionSA aims to deliver.

ActionSA will build on the momentum of our North West visit to mobilise as many South Africans as possible to vote in the 2024 elections and take action to remove the ruling party from government. We can fix the country and create a better more prosperous country for all South Africans living in the country.
