The reality, is that South Africa’s provincial road network has become a horror that claims lives, drives up the cost of living and doing business and limits our freedom of movement as a country.

All too often South Africans tell the story of how ANC governance has enriched tenderpreneurs with no experience that leave behind an incomplete project that claims lives, vehicles and tires.

ActionSA has presented a manifesto which commits itself to massive levels of investment to fix the road network of our country because a prosperous country requires South Africa, its people and its businesses to be connected by a high-quality road network. You can believe in this commitment because when ActionSA President Herman Mashaba served as Mayor of Johannesburg, over 25% of Joburg’s broken roads were resurfaced.

This is why we are calling on the South African people to share with us their views, perspectives and photos of the worst roads in their province so that this can become our to do list under an ActionSA government.
