Zwakele Mncwango to be Sworn in as PR Councillor in the eThekwini Metro
Michael Beaumont
ActionSA National Chairperson
ActionSA is pleased to announce the swearing in of our KZN Provincial Chairperson, Zwakele Mncwango, as a PR Councillor in the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality.
In considering the plethora of infrastructure failures in the eThekwini, ActionSA’s Senate believes that it is in the best interest of our organisation that Mncwango’s experience be drawn upon to fight for the service delivery needs of residents.
Mncwango started his political career in 2002 and has since held various leadership roles in his political career, including leading the official opposition in the eThekwini Metro and serving on the Executive Committee for 7 years.
Mncwango has showed strong leadership in his political career throughout the years, possessing extensive experience in all spheres of government. Already his role in fighting for resolution of the eThekwini sewage crisis has been telling and this is the standard that can now be expected from ActionSA in eThekwini.
Currently the people of eThekwini are desperate for strong leadership. Political parties in council have demonstrated their inability to hold the eThekwini Council accountable for their many pressing failures and ActionSA must now provide hope to all residents of eThekwini.
