ActionSA in KwaZulu Natal (KZN) has launched an unprecedented 50 branches in the province as of this past weekend. This includes branches in the eThekwini Metropolitan, Amajuba District Municipality, and on 12 June 2021, 15 new branches in iLembe District Municipality.
As a relatively new organisation made of ordinary residents, seasoned politicians and professionals from multiple fields of business and civil society, we are committed to working with the people of this province to provide quality services and eradicating rampant corruption.
In Amajuba District, all 34 wards have been launched under the stewardship of ActionSA’s Newcastle mayoral candidate and Regional Campaign Manager (RCM), Faziel Cassim. He and his executive have been on the ground working and bringing positive change to residents in the district.
It is that spirit that led to the successful launch of branches in iLembe, led by RCM Michelle Sewraj, laying the groundwork branch launches in uMgungundlovu and uThukela District Municipalities, respectively.
We are gearing up to paint all corners of eThekwini green as we launch the remaining branches in the Metro with our team of dedicated volunteers, ActionSA candidate councillors and provincial leadership.
As numerous ANC branches within eThekwini continue to rally behind disgraced former mayor Zandile Gumede at her court case today, we will be deep in the trenches offering the residents of this beautiful province alternative ActionSA leaders that are committed to serving them.
While the others protect the corrupt and assist them to avoid the rule of law, we are establishing branches and inculcating the culture of accountability, ethical leadership, respect for the rule of law and advocating for direct democracy.
