ActionSA extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, loved ones and colleagues of COPE leader, Mosiuoa Lekota following his passing earlier today.
ActionSA remembers Mr Lekota for his important role in South Africa’s political life and his contribution to the country’s democratic journey over many years.
He served not only as a fearless freedom fighter in the struggle against apartheid but also played an incredibly meaningful role in the democratic transition, during which he also served as a public representative.
He will always be remembered and honoured for his commitment to building our country. We hope that this comforting truth provides solace to his loved ones and colleagues during this difficult time.
