ActionSA Tshwane Announces New MMC for Housing and Human Settlements
Bongani Baloyi
ActionSA Gauteng Provincial Chairperson
The ActionSA welcomes Councillor Kgosietsile Jairus Kgosiemang as our Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Housing and Human Settlement in the City of Tshwane.
Kgosiemang is the current Chief Whip of ActionSA in the City of Tshwane. He has made great inroads in fast-tracking pertinent coalition priorities within our Coalition Management Committee (CMC) and has been very instrumental as a member of the Portfolio Committee on Finance.
We are confident that Kgosiemang, with his degree in internal auditing, a post-graduate degree in risk management and years of experience at the department of public works, will add value to the Mayoral Committee while expediting the ever-urgent Housing and Human Settlement services required by the residents of Tshwane.
The work of relocating the Mamelodi Flood Victims together with expediting the completion of incomplete RDP housing – to name but two priorities- will be some of the first things that Kgosiemang will be seized with as he enters the office. ActionSA wishes him all success as he ensures the city provides pro-poor service delivery to communities that have long been neglected.
