ActionSA is proud to announce the appointment of Phillip de Lange as the Executive Campaign Manager for ActionSA’s mission to deliver inclusive development and services to the people of Ekurhuleni.
Phillip is a seasoned activist and politician, with a career tracing back to the early eighties – this includes his elections as the Deputy Mayor of Alberton in 1995, during the existence of the Alberton Transitional Local Council. Later in 2011, de Lange was elected to the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Council.
Amongst his many other roles, de Lange has also served as leader of the DA Caucus in the Ekurhuleni Council before his resignation in September of last year.
“Phillip is a strong and welcome addition to our campaign team in Ekurhuleni. His wealth of experience will enhance our existing efforts to reach every single community in Ekurhuleni and deliver our message of economic development, access to quality basic services, and hope to all residents,” said ActionSA Mayoral Candidate, Tlhogi Moseki.
“I have joined ActionSA because I want to be part of creating a more inclusive and prosperous society, particularly for the people of Ekurhuleni. I am excited to work with our Mayoral Candidate in Ekurhuleni, Tlhogi Moseki, and deliver a government that truly cares for all residents,” said de Lange.
We are delighted to have more and more South Africans, from all walks of life, bringing their excellence to our fight for change and providing real service delivery to communities.
ActionSA remains deeply committed to the project of building a strong, robust and diverse leadership team that reflects the diversity of our country.
