Tshwane Child Murders – Bodies of Children Finally Released

ActionSA is pleased to receive reports that the bodies of Relebogile and Kamogelo, aged 5 and 8 years, have been released to the Motsaneng family after a six-month ordeal where the government refused to submit the children for a dignified burial.

With the selfless assistance of Thuli Nkomo Attorneys, ActionSA was able to ensure that the state morgue did the right thing and returned the children to their grandmother, Virginia Motsaneng. The children were allegedly murdered by their mother.

The return of the bodies will help the family begin the process of healing in what has been an unimaginable ordeal.

On behalf of the family, we would like to thank Ms Thulile Nkomo for providing her services, pro bono, in order to help the family bury their loved ones with dignity. This is what happens when we #ActAsOne.

ActionSA has also organised counselling for the family. Tomorrow, the family will host a memorial service for the two young children, followed by a funeral service on Friday, 03 September 2021.

ActionSA Mayoral Candidate, Abel Tau will attend both solemn events.
