100 days ago, I entered the North West Provincial Legislature with a clear mandate: to strengthen oversight, confront governance failures, and ensure that the lived realities of the people of the North West are reflected in the work of this House. 

Today, I attended the court appearance of ActionSA Ekurhuleni Mayoral Candidate, Xolani Khumalo, at Palm Ridge Magistrate Court.

ActionSA has written to the City of Johannesburg Speaker requesting an Ethics Committee referral regarding numerous criminal cases involving PA Councillor Juwairiya Kaldine, ranging from kidnapping to assault, as well as the alleged cover-up of the arrest of her bodyguard yesterday for possession of a stolen vehicle and violations of the Private Security Industry Regulation Act.
