The purpose and role of a constructive opposition party in a democracy are vital for the health and functionality of the political system.  In my view there are two vital roles of a constructive opposition party such as ActionSA, notably : Firstly, Accountability: Scrutinizing Government Actions: The opposition plays a critical role in holding the government accountable for its policies and decisions, ensuring that they act in the best interests of citizens. Secondly Informed Decisions: A constructive opposition contributes to a well-informed electorate by presenting alternative viewpoints and critical analyses of government policies implementation.
